Carnifex, god of death
Names and epithets: The Selfslayer, Akhlys,
The Falxer, Moros, Anaplekte, Munus Ak'ludi Rex.
An old komatai weapon, the falx was adapted from the scythes they used when enslaved by
the Amaranthine Empire. On its balance as sword of killing and scythe of harvesting,
it's considered perfect for reaping one's enemies.
Among the oldest of the northern gods, his worship began during the amaranthine height. The ancient amaranthines had a tradition to celebrate their ancestrals with deathmatches among slaves. As time passed, this became a custom to honor the soldiers fallen in battle with fights among gladiators drafted from conquered peoples. Such was the case with the hobgoblins, except for an unknown individual, which instead of giving in to the
Nyxcilla, goddess of seas and night
Names and epithets: Queen of Darkness, Nyxcta,
Mana Mother, Dame of the Hidden Land, Thallassathea.
Nyxcilla rules the deep darks, from the abyssal waters to the night and moon. Through the tides from her lunar domains the world is bathed on magic. As suitable for the goddess of oceans, she is never still. Anyone at the sea may be judged as suits her wholesome and overwhelming temper. Diveus courts and calls for her through mortal messengers, but her answers are unknown, perhaps absent.
Mother-of-pearl, Nyxcilla's high priestesses, vouch for some
couriers being drawn into her whirpool navel...

Into an empire
-Prophetic epitaph on Iskander's crypt, the prime emperor.
Adopted as the first Imperative of his cult.
Names and Epithets: Magnuminus, the Unbeaten, Scopo Divinam Juramenta,
Pater Patriae, Tallarxo Magnus, Terminus, the Sublimator.
Symbol: Flaming Scepter.
Before speaking about the god, one must adress the mortal he was. Iskander was the first emperor, elected to expand an agglomerate of people into a grand empire. In five years, he conquered a thousand cities, defeated three hundred tribes and enslaved two million. In the meanwhile, he founded fifty baronies, to defend the twenty new duchies arising from his conquests. And even though the empire kept a constant expansion, i
The Vandu People
Few societies have gender roles as sharply delineated and deterministic as the Vandu people, for the men and women live almost completely separate lives. However, Terran observers show the most surprise not at the extreme division between man and woman, but over which roles they are assigned. To Terran sensibilities, Vandu gender roles appear topsy-turvy, a total reversion of expectation. To sum them up as briefly as possible, women hunt and men gather.
"Vandu" as an ethnonym translates to "human being", but its definition is conventionally based on language. Per this definition, anyone who speaks some dialect of isiVandu as their native tongue qualifies as an ethnic Vandu. However, since the Vandu people have spread across a vast area with contrasting terrains over the centuries, ranging from dry plains to steamy rainforests, isiVandu's dialects are many and do not always sound intelligible to one another. Given this variation, the description of Vandu culture in this article must be
Species Profile: Lroaccan
Species: Lroaccan (Lrow-ah-can) is the singular form and Lroaccani (Lrow-ah-cah-nee) is plural. (The singular form is only used when talking about one individual, and the plural for anything relating to more than one or the species as a whole. It can take some time to get a proper feel for the correct usage.)
The colloquial term for the species is 'goat-lizard'.
Homeworld and Environment: The Lroaccani homeworld is called Ertljerl (Er-tll-djerl). It has no moons. It shares its main-sequence sun with five other planets of the gas giant variety in a small, somewhat isolated fringe system lying slightly below the plane of the ecliptic. A day on Ertljerl is 32 Terran hours long, and a year is 402 days. (1 Ertljerli year ≅ 1.47 Terran years)
Atmosphere: The atmosphere is similar to Terra's, except with slightly less nitrogen and slightly more miscellaneous other gases. Aside from the deep ocean chemotrophs, the native fauna of Ertljerl are all oxygen-breathers.
Tarkhav Species Profile
Species Name: Tarkhav
Homeworld and Environment: Planet Invinctus, a large warm planet dominated mostly by massive forests, large plains and rivers. The Tarkhav live in the Golden Ocean a Continent-sized desert (close to the size of Europe/Asia) situated near the equator of the planet. The Golden Ocean is a mix of dry arid rocky landscape and sand dunes with underground lakes and rivers all throughout the continent-sized desert. The Tarkhav share the planet with The Invincti, a race of bee-like humanoids that live in the plains and forest areas of the planet.
Appearance: The Tarkhav usually stand around six feet in height with varying body structure with two sets of arms with the upper pair ending in scorpion-like claws and the lower with hands complete with opposable thumbs. Tarkhav have legs and feet similar to the Invincti's but instead of two toes on the foot, the Tarkhav foot has three toes and claws. The Tarkhav have no wings instead having a tail that is h
Species Profile: Invincti
Species: Invincti (Inn vin -kuh tee)
Homeworld and Environment: The Planet Invinctus is a large, (approximately 1 1/2 times larger than earth) warm planet, with long springs and summers, and frosty autumns, never fully reaching winter except around the more mountainous and polar regions. Massive forests and grassy plains cover the majority of the planet, along with one continent-sized desert, the Golden Ocean, far to the southeast. Water-wise the planet has many large rivers and subterranean lakes.
The main city-state is situated along the boundary between one of the forests and one of the plains with smaller cities and villages dotting the plains and mountains. The Invincti avoid the deeper parts of the forests due to the many carnivorous plants and predators found there. The desert is the territory of the other sapient species on the planet, the scorpion-like Tarkhav.
Appearance: Invincti have dual-shade eyes, the lighter shade making the white while the dark
The enritomos live peacefully in the desert knowing little to nothing about their origins. So far we've been with them knowing little as well. That is, until now. It is now that I will reveal everything one should need to know about the enritomos. I will start by by breaking it into categories, so as no one can get confused. It will go in the order of history, biology, mentality, age, breeding, housing, customs, language, fashion, economy, currency, and technology. These will have subcategories, including sex distinctions, organs, digestion, eating habits, clusters, weddings, birthdays, holidays, spoken language, and written language. Categories will be bold, underlined text while subcategories will only be underlined text. Hopefully this will keep things understandable. I will also provide pictures where I can in links below. now let's get started...

Shelmek and Vinranalian Traits
This is a (hopefully brief) overview of my fictional races: the amphibious/reptilian/draconic shelmeks and the lupine vinranalians. This is a work in progress and I'm still sorting through the details. But first, a small description of the world they live in.
Enraa is the fantasy world which they live. Enraa is very Earth-like, featuring a nearly identical orbit and rotation speed. It has two very close binary stars; The smaller star can only be visible during dawn and dusk. Enraa has three moons. The largest can be seen during the day, the medium-sized moon is visible at night, and the smallest moon wipes around Enraa and can be seen during both day and night because it goes around the world twice a day.
Because the astrophysics involving the orbits of planets are extremely complicated, we'll assume that all of these factors coincidentally give Enraa the same day, year and seasons as Earth. However, whether or not Enraa is actually another planet in the galaxy or a
Sapient Races: Fairy
Fairy are sapient extraterrestrial species of humanoids, with pointed ears and two pairs of insect wings or bird-like wings growing on their back. From birth and throughout their childhood, they are the size of average bugs until puberty when they have a growth spurt to their adult size in less than a week. In addition, when an adult fairy dies, their bodies rearrange overnight into that of a juvenile fairy, where the previous sense of self is lost and a new one is born. Males are called Pixies and females are called Nymphs.
Quick Species Profile

Average: 5000 years
Average Height: adults 0.76 - 1.07 m (2'6"- 3'6") sprites 2.5 -
Sapient Races: Merfolk
Merfolk are an extraterrestrial sapient species of faye that originated on Kaf. Merfolk have well-built and attractive humanoid upper bodies and lower halves consisting of the tail and fins of a great fish or whale. Their hair and skin span a wide range of hues, with Merfolk in a given region closely resembling each other. Merfolk aren't as limited on land as some myths suggest; their tails will quickly reform into legs once they leave the water (and, likewise, their legs will quickly reform into a tail should they ever enter water). Communities exist in mountain lakes, coastal reefs, rivers, and even swampy wetlands.
